Week 4 Top 15

  1. Alabama-They played really well against a good Arkansas team.
  2. TCU-They looked a little shaky against SMU
  3. Nebraska- They played okay against South Dakota State but should have won by more
  4. Ohio State-They beat an okay Eastern Michigan team.
  5. Boise State-They well against an Oregon State team that shouldn't even be ranked
  6. Oregon-They handled Arizona State.
  7. Iowa (My Pick for National Champion) -(They are the real deal I think that they would have gone undefeated had Ricki Stanzi not gotten hurt.  Now great teams need to have back ups and they have one as their true freshman quarterback came in finished out the Northwestern game after no real game experience then the next week went to the Horseshoe and almost took down the mighty Buckeyes.  They also have 3 or four great smash-mouth and quick running backs.  So I really think as long as Stanzi doesn't choke and they stay healthy they will have an explosive offense.  They also have most of their exceptional defense coming back which includes this years Ndamukong Suh.) They played demolished Ball State while still not playing very well
  8. Wisconsin-They embarrassed Austin Peay
  9. Florida- They played where they should be this week.
  10.  Utah- They crushed San Jose State
  11.  Arizona- They beat California.
  12. Stanford - They beat a very decent Notre Dame team.
  13. LSU- They played good against West Virginia.
  14.  Michigan- They look to be able to knock some teams of this year
  15. Arkansas- They beat a Georgia team that was picked to win the SEC east

Week 3 Top 15

  1. Alabama-They played good this week but I don't think they really have played anyone other than Penn State but I'm not totally convinced they were a top 25 team.
  2. TCU-They beat a good Baylor team.  Don't say Baylor isn't good they are but just aren't consistent.
  3. Nebraska- They played really good against Washington.
  4. Ohio State-They beat an okay Ohio team.
  5. Boise State-They played Wyoming so it really doesn't prove much.
  6. Oregon-They demolished Portland State.
  7. Texas-I think that their inconsistency showed against an okay Texas Tech.
  8.   9. Florida- They played where they should be this week.
  10. Wisconsin-They played okay but to stay here need to start performing.
  11.  Arizona- They beat a very good Iowa team.
  12.  Utah- They crushed New Mexico.
  13. LSU- They played good against a decent Mississippi State team.
  14. Oklahoma- They played okay against Air Force.
  15. Arkansas- They beat a Georgia team that was picked to win the SEC east

Week 2 Top 15

  1. Alabama-They played really good this week

Iowa (My Pick for National Champion) -(They are the real deal I think that they would have gone undefeated had Ricki Stanzi not gotten hurt.  Now great teams need to have back ups and they have one as their true freshman quarterback came in finished out the Northwestern game after no real game experience then the next week went to the Horseshoe and almost took down the mighty Buckeyes.  They also have 3 or four great smash-mouth and quick running backs.  So I really think as long as Stanzi doesn't choke and they stay healthy they will have an explosive offense.  They also have most of their exceptional defense coming back which includes this years Ndamukong Suh.) They played really good against a also good Iowa State team in a rivalry game that is very inconsistent and can go either way.
  3. TCU-They demolished the lesser Tennessee Tech.
  4. Ohio State-They beat a very good Miami (FL) team.
  5. Boise State-They played a good against VT but this week VT got beat by James Madison so it shows their defeat of VT wasn't that big.
  6. Nebraska- They played really good against Idaho.
  7. Texas-I think that Garret Gilbert is starting to show his real abilities and is coming out and performing.
  8. Oregon-They beat decent Tennessee team by a lot.
  9. Florida- They played where they should be this week.
  10. Wisconsin-They played okay but in the end the came up a little short of what they will need later in the season.
  11. North Carolina- They didn't play this week but some other teams stumbled which left some openings.
  12. Oklahoma- They played really well against a good Florida State team.
  13. LSU- They played really well but it was against lowly Vanderbilt.
  14. Georgia Tech- They lost to Kansas who last week lost to North Dakota State.
  15.  Utah- They have played well both weeks and I think they're the real deal.

Week 1 Top 15

  1. Alabama-They pretty much destroyed San Jose State so they can't really drop
  2. Boise State-They played a good exciting game but I think that on the kickoff of their last touchdown drive there was a block in the back.  This would have totally changed the outcome of the game.  So i'm still not totally convinced.
  3. Iowa (My Pick for National Champion) -(They are the real deal I think that they would have gone undefeated had Ricki Stanzi not gotten hurt.  Now great teams need to have back ups and they have one as their true freshman quarterback came in finished out the Northwestern game after no real game experience then the next week went to the Horseshoe and almost took down the mighty Buckeyes.  They also have 3 or four great smash-mouth and quick running backs.  So I really think as long as Stanzi doesn't choke and they stay healthy they will have an explosive offense.  They also have most of their exceptional defense coming back which includes this years Ndamukong Suh.) They played alright but were a little exposed in the second quarter when EIU scored but I think they will come back next week
  4. TCU-I think that they played good this week knocking off OSU but cant bring them up as no one else messed up
  5. Ohio State-They basically destroyed Marshal but I don't know how much it showed
  6. Nebraska- They really played good and didn't have any offensive problems
  7. Texas-I think that Garret Gilbert had some problems but it was mostly because it was his first start
  8. Oregon-They just totally destroyed New Mexico and answered my questions on if they could score
  9. Wisconsin-They played well had a few problems but I think they will fix the small things
  10. Florida- They really struggled against Miami (OH)
  11.   12. Georgia Tech- I think that they played alright but have some more to prove
  13. North Carolina- They should have beaten LSU while missing 12 or so players but the refs botched a pass interference call on the last play
  14. LSU- I am dropping them because they should have lost to a UNC team with 12 or so players missing
  15. Miami (FL)- They pretty much creamed Florida A&M and Oklahoma looked very vulnerable

Preseason Top 15 for 2010

  1. Alabama-The only reason is they deserve respect after winning the national title game
  2. Boise State-This may shut them up about how they don't get respect
  3. Iowa (My Pick for National Champion) -They are the real deal I think that they would have gone undefeated had Ricki Stanzi not gotten hurt.  Now great teams need to have back ups and they have one as their true freshman quarterback came in finished out the Northwestern game after no real game experience then the next week went to the Horseshoe and almost took down the mighty Buckeyes.  They also have 3 or four great smash-mouth and quick running backs.  So I really think as long as Stanzi doesn't choke and they stay healthy they will have an explosive offense.  They also have most of their exceptional defense coming back which includes this years Ndamukong Suh.
  4. TCU-I think that they now know what they need to compete and will come back strong
  5. Ohio State-The only hiccups that I see would be Iowa and Wisconsin in which they will lose to Iowa and beat Wisconsin
  6. Texas-I think that they will be about equal to what they were in the championship game without McCoy
  7. Nebraska-I think that as long as their defense doesn't suffer to much from the loss of Suh they will remain competitive
  8. Florida-This is a little high but i'm not sure what to expect from them
  9. Wisconsin-I think that they will be the number three team out of the Big Ten this year losing only to Ohio State and Iowa
  10. Oregon-I really don't know what to make of their off the field troubles yet
  11. Virginia Tech-I think that they will be the big sleeper of the year not getting a whole lot of respect but looking to bring a whole lot of power
  12. LSU-This would be my pick to take home the SEC title this year but I don't think they will be a match for Iowa
  13. Georgia Tech-I think they will remain a top 15 team after their loss to Iowa but I'm not sure how well the option will work this year
  14. North Carolina-They are one of the teams from the evolving ACC that will be good this year
  15. Oklahoma-They will be better this year as long as they stay healthy

One team that I excluded from this list is USC this is because they will not be able to participate in postseason play so I believe it is irrelevant how good they are
